Nelly Korda Captures Seventh LPGA Victory of 2024 at The Annika
Nelly Korda secured her seventh win of the 2024 season at The Annika, shooting a final-round 67 at Pelican Golf Club to win by three shots. The victory puts her earnings over $4 million this season, approaching Lorena Ochoa's 2007 LPGA single-season record.

Despite starting one shot behind Charley Hull and struggling with a two-over front nine, Korda mounted an impressive comeback. She recorded five consecutive birdies from holes 11-15 to take the lead and maintain it through the finish.
"You should have felt the nerves that I was feeling on the back nine," Korda said. She credited her longtime caddie Jason McDede for helping her overcome the slow start and achieve the back-nine 30.
The win makes Korda the first player since 2011 to secure seven or more titles in a season. A potential victory at next week's CME Group Tour Championship would make her the first player to reach eight LPGA victories in a season since Lorena Ochoa in 2007.
Adding to the special moment, Korda's brother, professional tennis player Sebastian Korda, surprised her on the 18th green—marking the first time he witnessed her win in person.
Equipment note: Korda achieved this victory using her new TaylorMade Spider Tour X putter with an L-neck and shorter sightline, which she switched to before the AIG Women's Open, proving successful in just her fourth event with the new flatstick.
