Rory McIlroy won his third DP World Tour Championship title at Jumeirah Golf Estates Earth Course in Dubai, defeating Rasmus Hojgaard and earning a $3 million prize. The victory marked his fourth worldwide win of 2023/24.
The tournament featured the top 50 available players from the Race to Dubai rankings and offered a $10 million purse - the largest of the year on the DP World Tour.
McIlroy's victory also secured his sixth Race to Dubai title, earning him an additional $2 million from the $6 million bonus pool. After the win, McIlroy reflected: "It means a lot. I've been through a lot this year, professionally, personally, and it feels like the fitting end to 2024."
